I recently made some modifications to my bike. When I was re-assembling the starter drive gears, I found a small spacer/washer.
Is there a spacer/washer between the starter driven gear and the left side cover? This is the gear that mounts on the removable dowel pin.
I have checked my manual but there is no mention of it or the exact assembly of this gear.
